Bridging the Gap – Ruobing Yu

We are constantly looking to bridge the gap between academia and industry.

We are constantly looking to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Two years ago, our CIO (Chief innovation officer) Ruobing Yu dedicated a whole year to work with top universities’ teams to develop cutting-edge robotic cleaning solutions like cleaning the table, picking up the trash, cleaning the windows, and sorting items.

Ruobing Yu worked with the University of Auckland team to create a human cleaning motion data capture process.  Below is the link to one of the human cleaning data capture methods.

We are looking forward to working with more roboticists on real-world cleaning solutions so our humans can eventually be released from tedious, repetitive work and do what we meant to do- To create.
